Work, but tinker!

I finally got it working after an hour of fiddling. They work, and they work well, but without instructions, so I had to play around with them a bit before figuring it all out. I realized that all the reviews on the web saying they worked great were used with waterproof strips. I had regular fixtures for my daughter's bedroom. I find that the waterproof strips are thicker due to the silicone coating. I think the plugs don't work properly on regular strips because they are too thin and when you close the plug it doesn't pierce the R, G and B copper points on the ends of the strips. I ended up folding the ends of the strips to make them thicker, lined up the +, R, G and B, then closed the lid and they worked. I hope this helps some people who couldn't get it to work.
