I was looking for a wireless solution for my CarPlay when I came across this Ottocast adapter. I followed the instructions carefully and BOOM! I had wireless CarPlay. I turned off and restarted my car to make sure it reconnected. It worked perfectly. My overwhelming excitement quickly turned into emotional turmoil when the radio turned off CarPlay and asked if I would like to connect my phone. I unplugged the device and plugged it back in. The device reconnected to CarPlay with no issues. Then it was gone again just as quickly as the connection. The device connects to CarPlay when I start the car for the first time, but it disappears after a minute. I am disappointed that I have to return this product as it was everything I ever dreamed of. My wireless CarPlay dreams have come to nothing. Well, until I buy a new car with wireless CarPlay. I gave it two stars because it showed promise.
