Bought 2 boxes! I'm so glad I did. Together with them I bought batteries. I haven't had to change them yet. Each lamp requires 3 AAA batteries. I put 8 under cabinets in the kitchen and 4 on a shelf in the playroom. Each box contained 2 remote controls. The best part is that it only takes one remote to connect to all 12! I was shocked. You simply point the remote at any group of lights you want to control and they will flash in response. You can dim them and set timers. I like this feature that helps save battery life. They are cozy in the evening, save energy and bring aesthetics to any room! I highly recommend. I'm even thinking about buying another box for the bedroom or bathroom.
