This is an updated review. My initial review gave the product 2 stars because it worked but had a rainbow effect as seen in the first picture. The support team contacted me immediately and offered me help or a refund. We noticed that when removing the front and back protective films, there was another protective film on the front that I did not remove (Figure 2). The front foil is thick and exactly the same size as the digitizer screen so it could easily smudge when applied as I thought it was the top layer of the digitizer (Figure 3). I was able to remove the top layer and the rainbow effect was gone (Figure 4). I chose this digitizer because it has the exact same ribbon cable design as the OEM digitizer. After installation it worked immediately, there were no problems. I would give this product 5 stars if there was an instruction or warning that there were 2 layers of protection on the front so I didn't have to spend extra time removing the navigation console to troubleshoot the 2nd layer of protection along the way not remove time of initial installation. Otherwise I would say this product works as expected and the customer service is excellent. I would highly recommend this digitizer as the ribbon cable fits perfectly as intended, unlike some other cheaper digitizers with custom ribbons. Just don't forget to remove 2 layers of protective film from the front!
