I bought these flex clamp pliers after spending a lot of time working with the spring clamp. I usually buy a tool after solving a problem. I'm glad I did. This tool is nifty! I needed to replace a leaking gasket on an oil filter adapter on my Ford 4.6 Modular engine. The lower radiator hose connects to an adapter and is accessible with the PITA. This tool snakes its way along the engine and removes the collar in record time. This flexible clamp pliers set has a good latch that keeps the clamp open when moved sideways. Fit and finish are good.
