Be careful who you buy it from (if anyone). I ordered this "Special Edition" 250 bulb with supposedly very high quality white light, but got the regular 400 bulb version. Adding to the confusion is that the box correctly states that what's inside is the 400 light version, but again (falsely) has a sticker on top that says it's a 400 light version special edition Customer service was inefficient at best, only offering to return it. (Wow, why didn't *I* think of that? Thanks, Twinkly Support!) The app is buggy and difficult to use. First, it won't connect if location services aren't enabled (why exactly that's a mystery, I don't plan on driving around my car with my lights flashing - after years of pairing and configuring IOT devices, I've NEVER come across anything like this This). Also won't connect to my Wi-Fi until seven tries and two disconnects later. But if you can get past mediocre customer service and a second-rate app, the lights are great, especially after you've calibrated them so the app knows where each individual light is. located spatially. This allows for a range of amazing visual effects such as rainbows flowing from top to bottom, Christmassy red and white swirls diagonally, it's a real treat. This is a 5 star idea only detracted from the above customer service and app.
