Review on Master the Art of Shaving with MD Dragon Razor: Ultimate Precision and Performance by Katie Johnson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm a convert - Men's

Started with the Parker SR1 stainless steel wet shave and thought I would never go astray. I got this on a whim, decided to try something new. At least in the collection it would look good if I didn't like using it. Admittedly, this is different from Parker. The dial is plastic, yes, but it should be good quality plastic as it's heavier than Parker's stainless steel. The blade holder itself is slightly larger and heavier, which takes some getting used to. However, once you've done that, the extra weight is great for coarse, thick beards like mine. I've used Feather Half Blades and I can't express how impressed I am. With it and Feathers I shave with the same precision as the Mach 5 and with much more comfort. The pins that hold the blade are slightly thicker than Parker's, so you'll need to be a bit more careful when loading the blade, especially when using Feather's unholyly sharp blades. My verdict is a great razor, and a nice one at that. Maybe not the best to start with, but a great spare razor.
