Was looking for a pot with a heat exchanger for a decade, but did not have a crisis to actually buy one until last June. That time had to rely on my own stove while on a trip.Design of this particular one has not only a heat exchanger, but also a narrower lower part of the pot and a skirt forcing the hot gasses to engulf that lower part of the pot. Result is not only a better heat exchange efficiency, but also lower temperature exhaust, so less chance to melt something around or burn yourself. The lid and the handle/lid lock look sturdy and fit well. The 1.7l capacity is good for up to 4 people, but that is if cooking my style :) To give a little perspective, I've been hiking and climbing in the mountains for more than 5 decades and highly recommend this pot!
