Pros: - Fairly bright - Available in different lengths - Extension works well - Good range of colors - Quiet Cons: - Only 6 month guarantee. They don't seem to have much faith in their product - in vain, it turns out. The control sensor failed after 9 months without any particular stress. Do a little Googling, this seems to be a common problem. After the sensor fails, you can continue to use the light on the switched power supply when the stuck state is useful but can no longer change brightness or color. Asking how exactly the programmed cycles work, how the unit responds to power outages, etc. - Programming works but isn't accurate. It's unclear exactly how many brightness levels are available - I'm guessing around 9 (plus "off") per color. The light will blink to confirm you're programming a brightness change, but the blinking is somewhat random: they can mean varying degrees of change, or no change at all. If you're into numerical calculations and don't want to judge brightness levels by eye alone, you'll need a light meter (or a light meter app). Once programmed, the cycle runs smoothly.
