Poor Customer Service

I bought this cookware for over $1000 and had no problems for over a year when the lid on one of the pans started popping off. I contacted customer service where they told me it was due to the plastic utensils I was using, although there were no stains on any of the other utensils. I was then told that they would not offer me a replacement but would sell me another pot and half the discount. I guess given how much I paid for the dishes they won't try to squeeze more money out of me.
