Spend more money for better quality.
These bulbs normally last 2 months max. They are the cheapest and most convenient, but hardly the most reliable. I find that onions last much longer for aquatic reptiles and are worth the extra money. The last batch I received was broken. I think Revain recently started wrapping them in paper (which helped). However, if you're looking for quality bulbs that will last a while, I suggest you get ceramic or aquarium reptile bulbs.
