I kind of don't blow smoke, so I'll start with the only con that's made in China. I looked everywhere and couldn't find it before buying it and took a chance. I'm so glad I did! I have a lot of problems with my foot, ankle and knee so it's difficult to find a good boot. I love the functional design of the arch and ankle support. The width and freedom of the toes are perfect for wool socks. The heel cup is the first in many years that I have found to fit perfectly. OMG shoelaces that don't untie when I start running. In fact, I stand straighter in it and increase the suppleness of my stride. Haven't tested the waterproofing yet but these boots look good. No protruding threads, no traces of glue on the sole. The color is better than I expected. I put them on before I unlock the door. My legs burned and hurt in the morning after work. After 10 minutes my legs felt great again. It would have been 5 stars across the board if I hadn't seen China on the tongue.
