I bought this because I love the portability and taste of hard boiled eggs, but I prefer egg whites and usually throw away the yolks, so toss I most away egg. Solution? Hard boil egg whites only! Problem? Cleaning. I've used these things 10 times and even with different oils or lots of food spray it always leaves an egg that sticks and is difficult to peel. An egg is never the right consistency like a hard-boiled egg, it's always soft, mushy, or falls apart because it ripped off a part and got stuck to the plastic.
