My wife has never had tap water so we bought 5 to 10 gallons of water a week. buy 3 different water coolers in the last 20 years. We recently moved into a new house and the previous owners left us a beautiful SS LG fridge. After a quick google search I came across these filters and OEM filters. I decided to try them out just to see if they would at least filter the ice water and they work great! After running about 2-3 gallons through a new filter, you'll have clean, tasteless, perfect water. My wife likes that and now the water cooler has moved to the garage and is no longer an extra energy bill on our electric bill. I have already ordered more just to have them on hand and if each one lasts 6 months they will pay off in savings before the second filter is made.
