I was skeptical that these stones could make a difference! Believe the good reviews, these stones really absorb odors. I ordered two extra bags. For my applications I used a pouch in the area where we have the tray. On another app, I left it in a car suffering from a damp/stale water smell. If you're a cat owner and always make a fuss about air fresheners or other items to decorate your litter box, give these rocks a try. We have a litter box in the house, but even with good litter and litter additives, after a few days some of the odor will inevitably come out and stay in place. These stones absorbed most of the lingering smell of the garbage area and I'm very glad I found them. These stones also helped purify the air in the car. When I opened the package there was some white dust inside so I opened it from the outside and gave it a little shake and used a piece of cardboard on the bottom to agitate it but most of the white dust was gone after a few shakes So the outside was very easy to work with and once you've placed them where you want them, you don't have to fiddle with them much. I'm not sure how long they will last, I've read that you can charge them outside in the sunlight for a while but I didn't have to and they've worked really well for me. I have also spoken to other cat owners about these stones and would recommend them to other pet owners or other home scents!
