For the record, clean upholstery on this pillow is a headache. Having said that, I cannot stress enough the softness and comfort of this pillow which has brought it into the 2nd and especially the 3rd trimester. I usually just wrapped the velcro around myself and not the "stem" side of the pillow. The extra weight wasn't a problem, but I had a pretty bad restless leg and the free end of the "hook" just gave me something more targeted to twitch. I hesitate to recommend this to anyone who sleeps with a partner and has something smaller than a queen bed. We have a queen and it was *barely* tolerable towards the end. In general I would buy more, I liked the color!
