I was looking for a bright black light as I live in Arizona and we’re coming up on scorpion season and that’s the best way to see them at night. I didn’t expect it to be a multi-purpose flash light. Overall, it’s a great flashlight for normal flashlight use. It has bright and dim setting for white light, emergency strobe and black light. The black light, however, is super dim. It does light up some things and it might be good for spotting scorpions but at a first glance, it’s not super bright relative to other black light flashlights I’ve had. You can also recharge it via USB which is nice.
