Before purchasing we checked YouTube videos to make sure we know how to do it. The local mall wanted to fix this more than we even paid for the iPad. The exchange lasted several hours. This project requires patience and utmost care. We watched the video over and over again to make sure it was perfect. Well we have to say we were really skeptical about buying a replacement screen and our ability to replace it ourselves. but we were pleasantly surprised! Sits perfectly. There are no dead zones. We verified this by selecting an app on the home screen and dragging it in a zigzag across the screen to make sure the app wasn't unblocked. The price is perfect and the product is great! I definitely recommend it. It's literally 1/7th the price the mall tried to charge us. It's worth spending a few hours trying to fix. The only advice is when loosening the screws. Make sure you put them on a flat service. If you remove the screw from the top left corner of the iPad, place it on the top left corner of a table or other flat object. Also, when changing, don't forget to remove the camera part from the old screen. The product does not come with any tools or instructions, so make sure you research them beforehand. I used tweezers, dental floss, and items we found in a toolbox we had at home called the Hyper Tough 18-Piece Smartphone and Small Electronics Toolbox.
