I've been using this for a while and it's the best you can get for a 'real' guitar from Rock Band now that the Squier is no longer made. Don't get me wrong, I really, REALLY want one of the Squiers, but no more than $400! That's way above my price point and I also hate scalpers profiting from something you know they bought for $279 when they were made. Good. I've never had trouble setting up someone else. My guitar worked flawlessly right out of the box and continued to work even after long sessions and clumsy finger movements! Almost everything has already been said about them. firm, like a regular guitar, and may feel rubbery to you. The strings are all the same size, which was really weird as I expected to be able to "feel" down there. On the same note; All buttons are the same thickness, so you don't feel where you are on your neck. The fact that the game will tell you what fret you are in when you press the button helps a lot. It only has 17 frets instead of 21 frets, but the game knows that and makes adjustments to the fingering so you can still play. So, go out and get one of these and experience Pro mode! Bye!
