This is a great tool!

I saved up for a tool like this for a long time. It was worth it. I've used it on 5 cars so far. It received updates every few days and some of them brought notable new features and functionality. The possibilities of the tool grow. The new system topology view of data buses and modules is very cool and allows direct navigation and entry into these modules. An example photo here is of an old truck. Newer cars look a lot more expansive, but this feature can make it easier to understand. Full bi-directional control and functional testing is so nice. Google code searches can now be done with this tool. The wireless VCI is great and the special feature that comes with this tool helped me the other day. Connected to the car's DLC (OBDII port) and it didn't have VCI activated. Tried another scanner, same thing. No power on DLC. I didn't have time to investigate. So I reconnected the ThinkTool Pros VCI and since it can also connect to the tablet via a USB cable I was able to use the tablet's power supply to power the VCI and connect to the controller and all other modules . Ha! I confess I didn't foresee that. Another example. Fixed a small leak in the EVAP system at Chrysler. This tool allowed me to run a system test without having to wait for the drive cycles and all the conditions that would normally be required. I knew quickly that my repair had solved the problem. The thing is solid, comes in a great case with lots of cables and accessories including the quality USB cable just mentioned, 5 year hardware warranty and 2 years free updates. WiFi and Bluetooth work great. Many other advantages are not mentioned here. I love it so far.
