Having owned this unit for almost a year I would say that overall I am relatively am happy with it. However, I did have to change the needle, which is probably because we have to balance the coin on its head to get anything to play with at all. I guess we'll probably damage our records by doing this, but we don't buy THAT MANY albums (we might have about 20 of them). the best end of low budget turntables with built in speakers. If you're considering getting your "introductory player" and plan on getting more advanced in the future, I suggest you look elsewhere.
