Use this bit to cut approximately 1" off a 6" x 3" slab of walnut. It took me half a day and I did several passes. I think I could do it faster with a more powerful router, router power was the limiting factor and I had to make each pass about half as deep as the drill bit to avoid overheating. It's as good as new after the job is done and I think I could make a few more without a problem. Wear gloves when handling. He's damn sharp. Watch your router, it will die long before that. I have a 2hp de Walt and it needed a break every hour or so to cool down.
