I use them to back up my 1080p BD collection and have never had a problem with a single disc. I have stopped at two because of an operator error. It should be noted that I do not burn EVERY disc, whether DVD or BD, at the maximum rated speed. They are rated for 6x piercing and the three I have tried have NOT failed but I have had issues in the past with another brand that had issues with the maximum rated speed during shift transitions. I burn them 4 times and of course it takes a little longer but never burns. For me it's a time saver.
