I have a really small house and I am always looking for a better way to keep everything organized. The baskets came really flat like most rope baskets but I expected them to really open up once I unpacked them. It was at that point that I realized they were basically like large rope envelopes. They barely open at all on the bottom but the top is a bit wider. I think they are probably better for decorations than actual storage but they are sturdy. I currently have them on the back of my bedroom door but I intend on wall mounting them when I have a little bit more time. The baskets did open nicely to their designed shape even though that was naturally shallow. The dark color looks great with almost anything in it and stays clean even with little hands touching them. Overall I like the way this look I just wish they would open larger.
