Review on Honeywell HT 900 TurboForce Circulator Black by Tiffany Lewis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Surprisingly durable, quiet

Summary: In this review I am comparing 3 fans including this one. With the prospect of summer coming and I'll be living in an apartment that isn't suitable for unit window air conditioning and a faulty central air conditioner that the homeowner won't fix, I prepared myself by installing a set of fans bought. In the following paragraphs, I compare them in terms of power consumption, perceived noise, perceived airflow, and overall functionality. They were all tested in an area of 150 square meters. feet per day at 30°C/85°F. Conclusion: The Lasko 1827 is a stand with 18" blades: a large and powerful fan. Thanks to the swivel function, the air from the only window in the apartment is excellently circulated. The air blast is even at the lowest settings from a distance of 5 m/ Noticeable 15ft and we could feel "air circulating throughout the room". Unfortunately it seems cheap and very noisy, can't sleep.Vornado 683 - A socket with 11" blades: This fan is well built and for its Size surprisingly powerful.Even though you could feel a good breeze when standing in front of it, we couldn't reproduce the statement "airflow throughout the room. Since it doesn't rotate, we won't feel anything if you move out of direct range." air located. Also it was a little shorter than intended and didn't fit the window. The worst thing was that it was very noisy and we couldn't leave it on overnight.Honeywell HT-900 - 9"St andventilator: This fan was a very pleasant surprise. Very cheap but looks well built and although it's not as powerful as the other two as it uses less power and makes very little noise we decided to fill a room with three of them. lowest setting. The best attitude for sleeping. Details (3 numbers for each fan and metric for 3 performance settings). Power consumption (measured with TP-Link HS110 Smart Plug): Lakso: 85/73/63 W Vornado: 60/45/40 W Honwywell: 25/23/21 W, unreliable) Lakso: 60/55/50 dB Vornado: 45 /40/35dB Honeywell: 40/36/34dB Final Verdict: We returned Vornado and for the same price we have Lakso which we put in front of the window before bed and 4 small Honeywells for "air circulation throughout". Rooms" of which we keep 1-3 overnight or with timer (with TP-Link Smart Plug)

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
