This solved a major problem with the door to my mother's room at the nursing home. The door had an automatic door closer, and she became so weak and slow that she could hardly leave her apartment without closing the door in front of her. It was the perfect solution. We just had to get her to slide the door far enough to grab the wall mount and when she did everything worked exactly as described. I am very happy with the strength of the magnet which was my only issue. I didn't just use glue, I attached both parts with screws. I figured it would be better this way and I wouldn't have to worry about parts coming loose due to lack of glue. Very happy with this purchase.
