I just paired the new MX dongles with my existing Unifying receiver and I still don't understand what it takes to access the other advanced settings. However, with only the basic keyboard functions enabled, I'm already confident that I'll be very glad I decided to upgrade to my still-reliable K400+. The weight and feel of these durable MX keys is amazing. The overall dimensions are pleasing proportions considering the full-size configuration (including the number pad). I really like the individual key profiles and mechanics. Logitech excels in physical performance and design. Because I'm really still not sure how to personalize this neat new tool. I should defer this until I've had a chance to revisit the Logitech website and its rather confusing "Logitech Options" and I think another Logitech app (that I can't remember right now). To be honest, even though I've been in the Logitech ecosystem for over a decade, I still don't fully understand the specific purpose and difference between these apps (and what frequent updates are). Again, it could probably just be me. Since I'm not even a regular gamer, I don't really need to concern myself with my personal settings. Much more important is understanding and implementing the flow control features, which will hopefully allow me to get rid of the reliable IOGear USB switch I use to switch between my two desktops.
