Pros: Fairly easy to assemble (aside from eliminating slack cords), the lamp gives excellent light, fairly durable. Plan to suck when you're done. The stickers in the shadows are ugly (but easy to remove). The shades themselves are cheap plastic, so just LEDs or CF bulbs. The bottom lamp isn't as useful as you think, and you need a REALLY low-power lamp as it can be seen from almost anywhere. Neutral Specs: The 3-position switch is on top of the light (typical of this style), which can be awkward to touch. The switch itself is solid. I needed a flashlight for the corner of my office and didn't want to spend much so I went for this one. I am happy with the purchase. I chose a nice 40/60/100 LED from Philips and it looks great. Some people have complained about the pins being misaligned in the sockets (which affects 3-way ability), but mine worked right out of the box. for a faint light that doesn't peek out of a little shadow.
