Containers are exactly as described and fit my lazy Susan perfectly once I put them in. However, I didn't measure the width of the door and they didn't fit through the hole. This means I can't just pick them up to sort through the items in the bin. I squeezed them onto the top shelf because of the extra space under the counter, but couldn't get them onto the bottom shelf no matter how I rotated the basket. So my tip: Be sure to measure the width of the door and compare it with the dimensions of the trash can. Much luck! Bins are great for keeping small items organized, and they're great if your "Susan" is the type with a stuck door rather than a fully closed one.
