I was able to mount above the closet door without much effort, just a Phillips screwdriver. it took about 10 minutes. I don't know how to set up the installation. Luckily the door is closed! And it fits in my foil and plastic wrap boxes, nice, and yes the door closes. (I have a sink under my door) I measured the values carefully before buying it, so in theory I knew what should fit, but you won't know until you do. I can get another one for the cutting board and tray. Notice that the hook sticks out about a half inch from the outside of the door. You can try to bend. I'll use it for a while and then I'll decide. Other than that I am very happy with this purchase.
