Review on 🎡 Crosley C6B-DB Belt-Drive Bluetooth Turntable: Built-in Preamp, Adjustable Tone Arm, Matte Black by Matt Sirmons

Good choice for the price

My other Crosley case stopped working one day out of the blue - it was never right anyway. After much research I decided to do it, but made a few concessions. When I first started looking I really wanted something with a solid wood base, but the veneer on this one looks great and the unit still feels solid and weighs a lot. Conceptually, I don't like removing the disc to tighten the belt to change the speed, but I've had it for a week now and haven't played an album that requires a speed change, so I don't think it will as annoying as I initially thought. I also wish it had an auto return, but still. For the price this is a great item. As I said, the wood veneer looks great and overall it's a great looking piece, which was very important to me as it's clearly visible at all times. There is a built-in preamp, the sound is excellent. I hooked it up to a Marshall speaker with RCA cables and I hear a depth in it that I never heard on my old player. I think Crosley got good gear at a great price. Very happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking to get into vinyl or upgrade gear without going into the $3-$500 range for an 'entry level' unit.
