Review on Toshiba PA3542U-2PRP Dynadock USB Laptop Docking Station with DVI Port - Streamline Your Connectivity and Enhance Productivity by Will Jenkins

We bought this for someone in our office. The idea was that instead of buying expensive docking stations that would have to be replaced when we got a new wearable device, we could use a cheaper and reusable one. It works well for what we bought it for. We can connect multiple components to it (including an external monitor, keyboard, mouse and CD drive) and it copes well with all of them. The only complaints are: * It's a bit intrusive on desktop * I'm not sure if it can support all the screen resolutions we might need (although we haven't looked into that issue yet) * It seems a bit pricey to be for a "port replicator", but we think that with a connector for communicating with the monitor it's also a good buy. We will probably buy additional devices so that everyone can use their laptop at home or in the office with a cable connected.
