I can't judge the taste personally but our 2.5 year old bearded dragon (Takito) loves them. We're tired of wasting money (and making frequent trips to the store) on live crickets that are about to die. I know Takito prefers live crickets and I love watching them hunt, but he likes these just as much. I soak them in water for about 5 minutes so he gets the amount of water he needs. I also spray them with calcium spray before serving. He loves her enough. Between them and the superworms, he's a big, healthy central bearded dragon. If you don't soak them and your dragon's water intake from vegetables/regular drinking is minimal, the droppings will be very dry and interesting. This has caused the soaking and it really seems to be making things "more normal". Takito is an adult male, an adult bearded dragon. Given the size of these crickets, I would not recommend them for breeding bearded crickets. Maybe this company is smaller, but these are big crickets. The next step is to create a larger living space for it!
