I bought this as a Christmas present for my 9 year old girls. I didn't want them to have cell phones, but I wanted them to be able to call me and other close relatives when I wasn't around. I bought Speedtalk Mobile's recommended smart watch SIM and it works fine. I bought a ticket for $10. Girls still have minutes after three months (activated on Christmas Eve). However, this watch does NOT have a text messaging feature, which is what I thought. The user can send a preloaded SOS message to parents only in case of emergency. That's all. As girls get older, they prefer texting. My children are not particularly fond of games and find them "childish". There is a silent mode that is good for school. The pixel quality of the camera is not very good, but it does the job.
