4.5 got damaged just because I wanted to return it first. It took extra pressure to get him to register. This made drawing difficult and prevented the reliable marks I made. I was really disappointed. His performance got me good grades when I realized what was wrong. For the first time, I felt like drawing on a tablet was as good as paper and pencil. I should be able to draw at my normal pace, the markers should start and end where they should, I should be able to trust my hand without paying too much attention to it. Tip should touch inside. It's actually ok if the tip isn't fully inserted (I think it might even add some cushioning/shock absorption) because the rubber will push it back out. When I did that, everything turned upside down. For the short elastic ones, I tried pulling it tighter through the sleeve. It's not easy and I was afraid I would break them. I didn't, but it didn't work for everyone. Note that the one with the short back doesn't have any wiggle room in the front either. EDIT: It could be less contact in the back and more that it works better when not fully inserted, the rubber just made it possible. Will update if necessary. The photo shows an example of lines drawn quickly, focusing on hitting the target.
