During our 05th expedition our check engine light started blinking. This basically means a misfire in one of the cylinders. We reviewed Motorcraft reels and were shocked. We read the reviews about it and took a chance. The results were instant. The check engine light went off and the car ran much better. In fact, we struggled to get 12mpg on the freeway. Switching to them, our mileage is 18mpg on the freeway. To be fair, we changed the spark plugs at the same time and used new Motorcraft spark plugs that don't twist out in the head. Also used an anti-seize agent on the bottom of the spark plug. Those coils and the new spark plugs really added to the overall performance and fuel economy. Pretty good so far. We've been using them for about three months now. I took a chance because they are very easy to replace. If they fail, they won't get buried in the engine and are very easy to replace.
