First I bought the Swiss Gear 5977 which is a close geometric comparison with this High Sierra and found a few issues with the SWISS PACK design. First, the bottom pencil pocket of the Swiss backpack has only one zipper. The High Sierra B/P has two zippers in the lower pencil/calculator pocket. WHY is this important you ask? Well, in order for the Swiss Gear bag to be fully closed, the zipper needs to be all the way down the side of the bag. If - just in case you move as fast as I do sometimes - when a class is over - and I only have a few minutes to get to the next class, I sometimes leave my bags partially open. At Swiss Gear B/P I lose my car keys, white background, favorite pens, iPhone and graphing calculator. . (free gifts for everyone behind me) as I race to the next class. This is much less likely to happen with the High Sierra as it has two zips in the bottom pocket. (it can be completely closed with two zippers at the top of the bag). Also, the Swiss B/P couldn't handle the same amount of content downloads. I uploaded the same items in each case (Β£15). Swiss B/P was tight and tight. The High Sierra wasn't tight or tight, but rather forgiving and comfortable. Each was comfortable when mounted on my back, really no difference. Conclusion: My personal desire not to risk any loss of assets tends towards the High Sierra. I have not received any compensation for this review. Thank you for reading-
