Description of 🎒 Black Steam/Black Swerve Laptop Backpack by High Sierra - One Size

Large main compartments and multiple pockets allow you to keep all of your gear secure and organized. A fully padded Cushion Zone laptop compartment accommodates most 17-inch models. A dedicated Tech Spot sleeve provides an ideal space for your tablet. The Suspension System provides relief when carrying heavier loads. It does so by dampening the shock of weight transfer while transporting your gear. Moisture wicking Vapel mesh material and deep air channels create maximum airflow between your back and the pack. Multiple pockets including a zippered mesh pocket, pen pockets, lidded media pocket and key fob hook are perfect for keeping all of your smaller items secure. Dimensions: 19 x 13 x 7.75-Inch.

Very spacious!: Bags, cases and cases

Very spacious backpack with 6 pockets. Any pocket can be used (many backpacks have many small pockets that cannot be used). Small when there's nothing in it, but all of my books for this semester fit in! It has a handy organizer pocket for pens/pencils/calculator. There is a pocket for a tablet and a laptop. My favorite feature of this backpack is the back pad. I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the zippers are a little wobbly. They don't attach easily and get stuck in some places. That…

Smaller than expected

Bought for my son for school. He has to carry around a 3-inch zip-lock folder, a lunch box, and a Chromebook in a slim case. Unfortunately, not everything fits in this backpack. I would have thought that most of these backpacks could hold a 3" binder, but that was definitely why this option didn't work. Came back and was replaced by Jansport (the previous one lasted 6 years, we were just looking for something different). A few other notes: I've had a High Sierra backpack (not laptop style) for…

Good for school

Just the right size for school and a night or two on the road. I think it repels water but not downpours, light rain and not for a long period of time. should be perfect for school. wide strap and back. tons of branches. should work perfectly for school. I actually bought this backpack along with a lightweight wagon for my kids as all wheeled backpacks were flimsy and if the bag broke first the wheels had to be snapped in too. but as we have two separate ones we have the flexibility to keep…

Story Time for Backpacks

So this backpack is really amazing. Not only does it fit in almost all of my nursing books, but it's strong and durable! So here's the story! I went home and tried to avoid the crosswalk lights. Spoiler alert: I didn't turn on the traffic light. A car hits me, I roll over and land on my backpack with all my weight. I had a Macbook Pro up my sleeve and my phone in the mesh side pocket. I just got hit by a car and landed on this thing. II was in perfect order. My ribs, thighs and right calf are…

Goes with everything, maybe even the kitchen sink.

Holds a lot of things! I work 14-hour night shifts and needed a backpack that could hold my schoolwork and classes to keep me busy during the long night shift. I carry college textbooks, notebooks, binders and my 15 inch laptop. Plus some coloring books, markers or pencil cases and a tablet. All the necessary cords and an extension cord to plug everything in overnight. Spare batteries, headphones and a bag for my personal belongings. I even have room for a sweatshirt. Everything fits and is…

Tasting test won! for laptop accessories

First I bought the Swiss Gear 5977 which is a close geometric comparison with this High Sierra and found a few issues with the SWISS PACK design. First, the bottom pencil pocket of the Swiss backpack has only one zipper. The High Sierra B/P has two zippers in the lower pencil/calculator pocket. WHY is this important you ask? Well, in order for the Swiss Gear bag to be fully closed, the zipper needs to be all the way down the side of the bag. If - just in case you move as fast as I do sometimes…

This is the best backpack I've ever had. I am 72 years old and have had many backpacks over the years. I am endowed with great physical health. So I play table tennis 5-7 times a week for 3-5 hours. I wanted a backpack with lots of large zippered compartments. I usually carry 4-5 table tennis bats in individual zipped pockets in 2 large pockets. I have one pocket that I use for snacks and bottled coconut water, a small one on top for keys and ping pong balls, and a fifth pocket for ping pong…

Great for college

I love this backpack. It is very well made, sturdy and durable. It can take a lot, although I always need more space. Believe me, that's enough. There isn't much padding in the laptop compartment. Although it is quite suitable for my 15 inch laptop. Some people have commented on the zipper protection. Yes, they're a little annoying, but they exist for a purpose! The locks work perfectly. I carry heavy textbooks with me every day and the bag holds up well. There are no signs of wear on the strap

5/5 Recommend

If you're looking for a durable backpack with lots of storage space, you've come to the right place! This backpack is ideal for school and university students as well as for adults. As a college student, I've carried several packs over the years and several of my co-workers have praised their High Sierra packs for their durability and reliability. I finally gave up and bought the Swerve last November and have been enjoying using it ever since. My main criteria for choosing a new backpack were…
