This bag perfectly fits my 13.3 inch Toshiba Chromebook that is encased (front and back) in a hard shell. For a little added protection, I placed some foam padding on the bottom. A foam pad comes with the bag packaging, that is on the inside of the bag, I cut two inches of the foam and placed it on the bottom of the bag.A 10.5 inch iPad with a Keyboard Case and back plastic cover fits snugly in the front pocket while the Chromebook is in the bag. The 10.5 inch iPad will not fit in the back pocket. Maybe without any protection, but I didn’t try it that way.The main compartment of the bag also fits my iPad while it is in it’s own little protection pouch (Tom-Toc). My main use of the bag is to carry my devices up and down the stairs. The strap is FANTASTIC! I can also slide my iPhone 6s in the back pocket and my glasses, a charger, etc.I didn’t want to get two bags for each device, but if I find that I need a separate one for the iPad, I’d certainly purchase another bag, and maybe even in the same size since I also put my iPad in the Tom-Toc case and carry accessories with my iPad.And perfectly honest - if I needed just a strap, I’d consider getting this bag for the strap alone.
