Not a fan! ;) - Heating, cooling and air quality

So it works as it should. But the problem I have is that when it works it lights up. There is an easy mode and a fan mode. And even in fan mode, the light is still on. It worries me at night because I need it to be dark in the room and the fact that it's on the bedside table worries me because it's impossible to get it to work without light coming from it.
