Review on Monroe 34671 Gas Magnum Truck Absorber by Aaron Bannister

Revainrating 2 out of 5

easy return, quick credit

Order placed on 01/03/2015 1 of 3 was defective, easy return, quick credit. The last two were installed about three months ago but still offer cushioning. It is recommended to leave the plastic tape in place to make it easier to align the holes on the frame. They were 90% cheaper than local and free S&H. After 6 months the rear shocks started to sag (no heavy trailer or load) and the right side sagged more (I would have thought the side would be lower at 300 in the driver's seat). However, I can climb on the rear bumper and rock up and down with no noise or floor. Now that I've clocked up 218,000 miles in a 2000 Ford Expedition 4.6L XLT and am on my third blown spark plug (tens of thousands of owners have complained about this), I have to love a company that puts KNOWN bullshit on sale to pay publicly. This same car had a KNOWN defect in the original windscreen where a defect just above the driver's side left riot box causes water to enter the box and short out things in HARD rain (all of which I don't know until rear wipers and courtesy lights come with ) . never worked again, tens of thousands of owners have complained about it - I've dealt with these two and other problems myself - FORD does NOTHING). The windshield was expertly replaced (yes, the repair crew knew hundreds of others in the ARKLATEX territory).
