I've tried many ways to make "clear" ice or make ice and this thing really works! If you leave it in the freezer for too long, taking it apart is a bear. leave it for a while or pour water over it. Ideally, the container should have unfrozen water BUT the ice balls will be frozen and clear. They will be translucent no matter how long you leave them in the freezer it will be easy. it will be more difficult to analyze everything. I ended up leaving the ice that forms under the ice ball molds for crushed ice in drinks. I love this shop!
