The basic design concept of this holder is good. However, it is very difficult to tighten the base once it is in the cup holder. The two small tabs that protrude so you can secure it in the mount don't work well and is difficult to hold and it all twists and turns. The reason I mentioned joints as "weak" is because YOU ARE! Eventually it will stop working no matter how tight you tighten the phone holder button on the back. I ended up having to glue it together with the other sections (no, it didn't break either). I wouldn't buy one like that again. Someone should make metal and snap-on, not plastic! I would pay extra!
