I'm glad I ignored the bad reviews, this product was exactly what I was looking for. shaved my head with no guard and felt it cut my hair shorter than other clippers I have used in the past. I've been shaving my head unprotected for about 10 years and was wary of buying because some of the pictures were posted of people with their heads cut off. I tested it on my thigh before using it on my head and no scratches so I did it with my head. Quality clippers and I would definitely recommend or buy them again. I'm not sure what the people were doing scratching their heads there, but I had no problems. great product, good price and the clippers pay for themselves after just a few haircuts. If you like styling your hair then they are not for you but if you are just trying to get a near high then by all means buy them.
