A perfect match for Andrew Jones designed Pioneer speakers

If you are looking for a good quality subwoofer to use with affordable Andrew Jones AV speakers (SP-FS52, SP-C22, SP-BS22) from Pioneer can be, then look no further. The 10" version of this subwoofer sounds great with these speakers, delivering great clean bass without overwhelming Pioneer and headroom. The black finish suits the Pioneer very well. I chose this Pioneer subwoofer because I wanted something more. Power (didn't want to overload the subwoofer to keep up with the other speakers) and preferred to have a front-firing subwoofer. The good clarity of this subwoofer mixes well with the 100Hz crossover in the audio receiver and you don't have to work very hard to get great movie bass sound. The price is also in line with Pioneers. As with the Pioneers, nothing special, not overly expensive, great sound for the money, looks good with them. FWIW, the auto setup worked fine with my Yamaha AV receiver (no bass dropout) and I used it in that mode for about a week, but since the receiver supported a standard 12V trigger output I finally decided to go with one Connect trigger cable and use trigger adjustment instead of automatic g adjustment to avoid future problems. But there were no problems with automatic control of this selection - if the amp did not have the option, I would gladly resort to automatic adjustment. Very happy with this speaker!
