Looks good and after figuring out how to use it despite the poor instructions it's pretty easy to use and understand. But it took a bit of playing with to figure out how to set it all up. There seems to be a reliable number of servings. When using flake food, the flake must not be too large, otherwise it will not fit on a spoon. If you're feeding small pellets or small crumbs (like bug bites) of different sizes, portion control is a bit difficult to manage. It seems too small or too big. I find the best way to deal with this is to choose smaller portions, but spinning the machine more often is a good option. The mount is a little wobbly. If it was attached to a glass tank with no rim, I'm sure everything would be fine. However, the clip does not allow for secure attachment to the tank, which has a rim at the top intended to hold the glass lid. Even with old tanks with a rim (like my Oceanic) the yoke hardly fits. I had to open it all the way up and lower it a bit to keep it working. And since it's quite thin, I'm afraid it will break. I haven't had it that long so I can't comment on its reliability or durability yet. But I do have concerns. The keys are covered with seamless, flexible plastic. They look great and are working well so far. But my experience with these types of buttons is that they crack and break over time as the plastic becomes less flexible. As mentioned above, the clamp is weak. I expect this to be the first thing to break, especially if this feeder is frequently removed or moved. The feeding cup is simply pressed in. Hard plastic on soft plastic. This is guaranteed to wear out and unfortunately that soft piece of plastic between the hard plastic shell and the hard plastic engine block essentially holds the feeder shell in the ON position to the engine. So when it wears out, the whole feeder can fall into the water. It sucks. As I said, this has not happened since I just received the device. But this is a serious concern. If this happened while on vacation it would be a tank kill event.
