Review on Electrolux EL012B Electro Filter Package by Liz Garcia

I bought this filter (January 2014) as a replacement filter in our factory refurbished Electrolux EL6988E-R Oxygen Vacuum Tank (white) - purchased in July 2011. This filter fits my Electrolux perfectly. It works well and hasn't caused any problems. I didn't have to force him. I inserted correctly. I vacuum once a week for about 45 minutes and we have a cat. We don't have any children yet. I also have severe allergies and this filter helps keep them under control. I am happy with the value of this filter as our original filter lasted 2.5 years. I expect this replacement will last that long. That's a good price for a filter that lasts so long! Regardless of the manufacturer's recommendations, simply look at your filter to determine if it needs to be replaced. I've checked ours regularly and it's always been clean with no dirt or discoloration. I finally decided to replace it because it was starting to look dirty. I will update this review in 6 months or a year if the filter doesn't last as long as I would like.
