A little hesitant based on some reviews. It's obvious to me that they didn't know how to put it together. I'm just a petite 71 year old female but I'm logical (not a builder). I had a 60 1/2 inch room that needed a shelf (who builds a closet and doesn't put a shelf over a clothes rail?) and I was worried it would be flimsy. It's not like this. Let me explain the installation: First there are two screws biting through the metal. remove nuts. Insert the nuts into the slots of the middle plastic section in two places. Measure (60 for me and just under 1/2"). Screw this piece all the way where it will bite into the metal bar. This will lock in the size. Place the shelf where you want it, tighten the two end screws and secure them. Viola! That's wonderful. I don't think I've ever bought anything that works so well! Be sure to get your measurements right because if you go a little off you're biting through in the wrong place the metal and if you have to adjust them a little it could result in your hole in the metal being too big and it can mess it up.I'm not sure because I don't know how much free time you have in the last Have adjusters. If I knew how to contact the sellers I think I would kiss them I had an idea. I'm wondering if I need another shelf somewhere.
