Crazy but it works great. Oh my God. it's so easy to use. And it comes with 4 spare blades. I've had it since December 2016. It's late March 2017. I still love this knife. It has always been hand washed just to be careful. But somehow the pin and spring came off the lever that the blade is attached to. I just found a pen and quill on a shelf near the base of the knife. I've tried and tried but I can't put it back together. I need three hands. I noticed that there is a small plastic pin missing where the pin was inserted. Like a little notch or groove. There seems to be enough room left for the pen to slide sideways and fall out. If there was always a piece of plastic missing, maybe the pin just needed the right moment to go over the groove and pop/slip out. I think it could just be a defect in the plastic lever part. I still love the vegetable peeler, but when ordering one, look at it as a whole first. There are moving or connecting parts at the base of the gun and everywhere else. If there is a defect, you can report it as soon as possible.
