I bought it to read in bed. My spouse worries when I turn on the lights in the whole room to read books. After installing the wall light, my wife is happy now. It is very easy to install in the wall with just 2 screws. It doesn't damage the walls. A 6ft power cord is included with the dimmer so it is long enough for flexible wall mounting of the sconce. The dimmer is the winner, allowing us to dim the light as needed rather than illuminating the whole room, but the brightest spot is bright enough to properly illuminate your area.
